Recognition from Wolfsburg

Accepting the Elmer A. Sperry Award for Volkswagen in New York on 13 November 1958, Heinrich Nordhoff names Josef Ganz as the only figure from the car's early history besides Porsche: the editor who spurred young engineers. In 1961 Ganz helps Volkswagen in the patent case brought by Tatra, and articles by Dieter Grossherr recall him. In his last years he receives an honorary stipend from Wolfsburg.
