Forgotten and rediscovered

For decades the name Josef Ganz is missing from the story of the Volkswagen. In 1990 the Automobil Revue prints a two-part series on him. Paul Schilperoord's research leads to the biography, published in Dutch in 2009 and in English and German in 2011; a heritage plaque in St Kilda follows in 2017, a documentary in 2019, and museums put his cars on show.
